在上個月22號開幕當日，Dr.7懷著期待又緊張的心情也跑去湊熱鬧，這座位於林口長庚附近的7-ELEVEN自助式加油站『G-Store』，遠遠看真讓人感覺微妙，招牌依舊亮著7-ELEVEN標準的三色條與標誌，只是變得很高很大。仔細走進去看，發現和一般加油站的確頗為不同喔！ 首先是站體的建築，使用了鋼材架構，讓屋頂挑高，建築物感覺起來更輕盈；開幕時雖然是陰天，但因為屋頂許多地方有採光罩設計，就算不開燈也不會覺得很陰暗。不過，這些採光罩，同時也是太陽能發電板。利用這些太陽能板儲電，一年就能減少6.6噸二氧化碳的排放量；像這種環保綠建材的使用，這座加油站裡還多的是！
